Timothy G. Madison

Mr. Madison's practice concentrates in all aspects of commercial and residential real estate, commercial real estate financing, real property valuation matters (Board of Revisions and Board of Tax Appeals), lease negotiation, land and site development, Ohio real estate brokerage law, and real estate and business litigation. In addition to his law practice, Mr. Madison is the elected President of Bexley City Council. Mr. Madison is a frequent speaker for the Ohio State Bar Association on various real estate topics and is an approved lecturer by the Ohio Division of Real Estate. Mr. Madison is also a licensed real estate broker (inactive) and an active member of the Bexley-Eastmoor-Berwick Realtors Association. Mr. Madison was a partner in the law firm of Swedlow, Butler, Lewis, Madison, and Dye prior to forming Madison & Rosan, LLP. Mr. Madison is married with five children. Outside of practicing law, Mr. Madison enjoys playing many sports and coaching youth sports. Mr. Madison is involved in many charitable organizations including Charity Newsies, Pelontonia, and the Bexley Celebrations Association.

 

    Kristin E. Rosan

    Ms. Rosan's practice concentrates in all aspects of administrative law, general real estate law and business litigation.  She represents real estate brokerages, agents, auctioneers and appraisers in matters relating to professional standards, contract disputes and litigation. She serves as an administrative hearing officer for several state agencies and handles appellate review of administrative decisions.  Her practice includes services as a real estate license law expert witness and representation in general business litigation, including breach of contract, employment and civil rights matters. Ms. Rosan also serves as the Assistant City Attorney for the City of Gahanna.

    Ms. Rosan formerly served as the Chief Legal Counsel with the Ohio Division of Real Estate and is an approved real estate continuing education instructor. Ms. Rosan frequently lectures on behalf of the Ohio State and Columbus Bar Associations on regulatory initiatives that impact the real estate, appraisal and auctioneer professions.

         Walter J. McNamara, IV

    Mr. McNamara is a seasoned negotiator and trial attorney, providing Madison & Rosan's clients a diverse experience garnered from his former work with more than 30 of Ohio's regulatory agencies.  As a Partner with the firm, Mr. McNamara's practice focuses on professional license defense of businesses and individuals, public entity defense, white collar crime and civil litigation.  Mr. McNamara has substantial experience in practicing before various Ohio regulatory agencies, including the Ohio Department of Public Safety, Ohio Department of Commerce, Ohio Athletic Commission, Ohio Lottery Commission, Ohio Accountancy Board, and the State Employment Relations Board.   Mr. McNamara has consulted with Ohio Department of Insurance and several medical profession boards including the Ohio Nursing Board, the Ohio Pharmacy Board and the State Personnel Board of Review.  

    Walter was most recently a Senior Assistant Attorney General with the Ohio Attorney General 's office, where he served for more than 14 years. 


    Darcy Shafer

    Ms. Shafer's practice concentrates in all aspects of real estate and business litigation, on general real estate and consumer law including representing real estate developers, brokerages and salespersons, and consumers before Ohio Courts of Common Pleas and the Ohio Division of Real Estate. Prior to joining Madison & Rosan, LLP, Ms. Shafer served as a law clerk for a prominent local real estate developer, and as a research assistant for Capital University Law School Associate Dean Dennis Hirsch. Ms. Shafer is an active member of the Ohio State Bar Association and Columbus Bar Association.

    David Bolon


    A graduate of The Ohio State University and Capital University Law School David has been involved in real estate all of his working life. Starting as a framer for a local home builder David worked his way through law school and established Foundation Title Agency, Ltd. as a compliment to my real estate law practice. Recently David merged Foundation Title with another title agency to concentrate on real estate law. His focus is on real estate transactions, both commercial and residential, lease negotiation and enforcement, document review and property management. He is Of Counsel with Madison & Rosan, LLP. As a licensed attorney and former title agent, David has a unique and complete understanding of real estate.
